Aye De Mi- Let My People Go- a cry from Moses and me.
Aye de me….
My eyes are on you…as you watch me.
The flag with the stars and stripes, red, white today makes me blue.
I watch you waive in the wind, as they rescind the freedoms and democracy for me and for you.
Those are ideals on which I was raised to believe We’d always stand.
Those are the ideals that are greater than just 1 man.
Aye de mi, I used to be a proud American,
But now I’m worried, sad, and embarrassed
of the horrors my brown eyes do see.
Aye de me….
My brown eyes are on you.
Are you a racist, a bigot, a Magaot feeding on the helpless, the tired, the poor, and the weak?
Hunting all those brown faces, the masses just yearning to breathe free?
Aye de mi, they just long to be free.
My gente, we are under attack, we are hunted, like animals, criminals, and rapists, when that was never you nor me. That was always him and he.
While We the Brown People built many of their American dreams.
They profited off of you, your labor, paying unfair wages to pick and trim their trees.
You are the carpenter, the picker, the Builder, the creator, and the Dreamer longing to be free.
We are looking at what other Americans are doing in our time of need.
We the brown people believed in the American Dream they write songs, plays, and laws about, the land of Martin Luther King Jr., Obama, and Si Se Puede, let that be freedom’s ring.
A land where people are actually free
Free from horror, hate, and bigotry.
Free from hate, discrimination and oppression. Don’t put that on me.
The horrors, crimes against humanity, crimes against brown people is what my brown eyes do see.
Pero aye de me…
My eyes are on you
My gringo friends, what you do right now matters, what you say matters,
and how you treat they and them and how you treat people that look like me- matters.
My eyes are on you my black friends. Do you speak out as they put us(a) in concentration camps, enslave us(a), and kill innocent people? Like in your own American horror history. We look to you, are you going to help the We? Because you are next, I hope you realize and you see- that what you do matters right now, what you say matters right now in order to remain free.
Aye de mi and aye de tu, yes you.
We followed the light of that torch, of freedom’s bright burning flame. Of the mighty mother and woman of Exiles…
Beaconing… calling and longing to protect not enslave.
She said, “Send these, the homeless, tempt-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
We hear you great mother of the land of the free, but I must ask you, does it apply to brown people like me?
I’m just here picking your fruit and vegetables, and harvesting your trees…but I don’t I see no golden door- of that which you speak.
Have them melted it down? like our freedoms? Sold it, morphed it into something unrecognizable? They let the evil run free.
Aye de ti, 66 million of ye’ and one of me.
With brown skin kissed by sun and loved by me, many, and the God(s).
Save our people my Lord, like in your Book I scream Moses’ cry.
“Let MY PEOPLE GO”, Lord hear my plea.
Let my people go, I hope you pray and fight for people like me.
Let my people go, I hope you stand with the We.
Let my people GO! Lord protect us(a) and open the cages they put them in.
Let my people go- Lord, plague the oppressors, like the Pharaoh of Your story. Protect the kidnapped, the stolen, the falsely imprisoned from animals, alligators, snakes, and republican monsters. Please hear my plea.
Aye de me,
Because I see you, but you don’t really see me.
You only see hate because of the lies from that pinche cabron orange monkey.
He’s the rapist, liar, and murderer. He should be imprisoned not them, not we.
Pero no te olvidas mi gente…edes un(a) warrior, an Eagle and Jaguar. It’s in your blood, in your history.
Today maybe the 4th and I can’t celebrate our Independence because we are no longer free.
Because the courts gave it away and paved a way for his hate to reign in the streets.
Pero requerda, you come from the Otomis and Shorn Ones, eres Azteca, Indian, and Native to these lands. The border jumped many of you and me. It’s made up, and we are fed up, the land is going to scream.
Perdon a me, because of my broken tongue.
Perdon a mi, porque no hablo Espanol muy bien.
Pardon me, porque I don’t know how to express my sorrow for what you are going through in this moment in time.
Pardon me, but I love you- don’t lose hope, your power, you’re mighty and free.
Pardron me, because this piece of shit is going to kill you and everyone who looks like us(a) unless we the People do something to protect the mild and the meek.
Pardon me, because them there peoples who want to enslave you and eventually me.
Aye de me, I’m brown as can be. Aye de me, its love and there’s many of me.
Aye de mi, I’m like you and you’re no different than me.
Searching for a place to exist and a chance at the American Dream.
But this is a nightmare for you, and eventually all brown, queer, Japanese, Chinese, Jews, Black, Muslim, Indian, American people like many of the Americans that make up the We.
First, it’s them, then it’s you, then it’s me. What you do matters right now, if you want to stay free.
I remember growing up thinking, “How did the Jews just march into the extinction camps?”
Aye de me, they are coming for you, they/them, and me.
Brown eyes like you, and brown eyes like me. Brown skin like sugar sweet as can be.
The color of molasses, refined, I taste – yummy freedom fits me.
Its getting hot in here, and yet I don’t want any ICE in my tea.
Aye De Mi- Let My People Go
Aye De Mi- Let My People Go – a cry from Moses and me.
Aye De Mi- Let My People Go
A cry from Moses and me.
Lord show him Your strong hand, Your will be done, protect each and every brown one.
They want to make slaves of you, and people who look and sound like me.
You came here for peace, justice, and a taste of liberty. And you get hate, hunted, low wages, and enslaved- it’s disgusting for these American brown eyes to see.
What the fuck happened to America?
Aye de me, and my eyes are you America. What do you see?
My eyes are on YOU America, it matters what you do right now, and how you treat people who look like me and mi gente, those picking the fruit from your trees, caring for your kids, and putting food on your tables. What U(SA) do matters right now, if we want to stay free.
What do you do when you have the blood of Aztec warriors running through your American veins?
Do you walk into the camps, or die a freeman?
My eyes are on you America. What do we do? And what do you see?
God, Dios, Jesus, the Holy Sprit, Holy Trinity, and anyone else that can hear, Save America and save my people. Let freedom ring.
Let my people go- a plea from Moses and me.
Let my people go- a plea from Moses and me.
The light in the torch stands for freedom and opportunity. It is the hope that guides us(a) to what was supposed to be a better future for ALL of the We.
I hope it applies to me and the brown eyes of many looking and searching for hope, freedom, and equal opportunities.
Let my people go- I hope you pray with me. Let my people go- a plea from Moses and me.
“Let the LORD look on you and judge”, because of what you have done or not done to help His people be free. That monster has made the USA abhorrent in the sight of the Lord and the world, and for many Americans like me.
“Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? For since I came to Pharoah to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have You delivered Your people at all.”
I pray, I’m humble and I seek Your face and it’s not me that is evil, nor them that have been kidnapped that need to turn from wicked ways.
Please hear us(a) from heaven and heal our land. Save us(a) from that ass hole, the devil because he’s running the courts in this land.
Aye de mi, Lord I’m down on my knees, set my people free. The same cry from Moses, now me.
Therefore, say to the people of America: I am the Lord. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in America’s concentration camps- be free.
Just like the torch in her hand, be the light in this land.
Show us(a) the way, be the light that guides us(a) not divides us(a),
that stops the abuse of power against the fragile and the meek. Stop their abuse of my people, the killing of innocent lives, or do they let the warriors run free?
Aye De Mi- Let My People Go
Aye De ME- Let My People Go – a cry from Moses and me.
Aye De Mi- Let My People Go. A cry from Moses and Me.
I can’t celebrate our Independence until my people are free.
Aye de mi, let my people go. A cry from Moses and me.
A cry from Moses and me.
