In the land of red, white, and blue,
Hope is fading, liberty too.
I once dreamed of fate’s embrace—
But this is no dance, it’s cruelty’s face.
From blue state to blue state,
They lied about us(a), with hate in their hearts, they try to seal our fate.
They send in troops from other’s friendly blues
Trying to cause us(a) harm, with hopes to sip our blood mixed in their goblets of wine.
Tough talk, iron fists—
They cuff, and zip tie the colored kids.
Rights are violated as children cry,
Tied like criminals with little clenched wrists.
Families are separated.
Parents gone, disappeared without a trace.
Breaking spirits, scattering dreams,
Trauma stitched into all our screams.
What once belonged to you and me
Is lost in a land of hypocrisy.
A nation built on hope and light
Now schemes in shadows, and in plain sight.
Corruption reigns, billions gone—
Pocketed by the rich, that’s Don’s con.
Politicians drunk on greed,
Forgiving sins that make young hearts bleed.
Screams about trans people not deserving rights.
Shouts about brown people being criminals, rapists and dealing drugs.
“They are eating the cats and the dogs…” They say,
To distract you, because it’s them who are the true crime thugs.
It’s their name in the allegations, piles and piles,
and in the pages of those Epstein files.
They think your life no longer counts,
But don’t forget you know how to climb that mount.
Freedom calls, a siren’s song—
You’ve known the pain, you’ve known the wrong.
The devil dances, sycophants spin,
But you won’t join them—WE the People won’t give in.
No room for their sickness on our dance cards,
No dance with demons, no disregard.
They shove, they scream, they shoot to maim,
Detain the innocent, because we won’t play their game.
Mr. Big Man breaks old bones—
Shame on him, shame on them,
Shame on those that bend a knee,
That try to make a throne from corruption’s seed.
You think you lead? You cannot see
The fire you’ve lit, a price to pay.
No ICE will cool the flames you stoke,
No lies will hide the vows you broke.
I won’t accept the beast’s cruel mark,
Nor dance in bigotry’s cold dark ark.
As you torch the dreams of brown youth,
May a blue flame rise in freedom’s truth.
In every child, a spark ignites—
A future forged in justice’s light.
Sometimes heaven sends the call,
Sometimes hate builds heroes tall.
Relentless, wild, and hard to tame,
A bluest fire, not born of shame.
It shines in darkness, bold and bright—
A midnight dew in moon’s soft light.
Though shadows stretch this once great land,
That flame still burns, still takes a stand.
Above our heads an angel’s hue
Don’t dance with that devil, for hate he imbues.
Relentless, but unable to tame your light
In their darkness, I see you, you shine so bright.
Shining wayward light on yonder dreams.
A dew at midnight reflects the moonlight beam.
Yet surrounded by darkness, still you shine.
Don’t give up yet– for this fights not done.
In those little fears and screams – I pray ignite
A desire to run, but not from hate. To run in love and chase their dreams.
Hope makes future Presidents out of young brown kids
to carry their torch and fight to right your wrongs.
A government divided, that lies, cheats, and schemes won’t stand.
Driven by greed, blood lust, and pedophilia- run amuck.
It’s sick -it’s yuck
Literally, I ask what the actual fuck?
Counter it we must, we will, in God in We Trust.
Even the score at the ballot box, to save you and me, and us(a) and them,
The call must be answered- Freedom’s allure.
And from blue flames, our hopes will rise—
A chorus born beneath free skies.
Voices lifted, young hands unchained,
A people healed, no longer pained.
The children sing, the elders healed,
Our fate is ours to own- to guide and wield.
And though darkness was long and cruel,
We build a new, we bend their rule.
For every lie, a truth will bloom—
For every wrong, make freedom’s room.
The red, white, and blue will shine once more,
Not as a myth, but as reality, for you and me.
Equality, freedom, and justice for ALL,
To my neighbor, my love, and a friend to ALL.
Counter their hate -we must with love,
we will because in God in We Trust.
